This work of art represents an abstract conceptualisation of economic value in this period.
Inside the transparent shell, parallelepipeds of light materialise in an ephemeral space. Light and fog are mixed in a continuous loop of creation and annihilation, that identify a place no-place. Without the box, the same artwork couldn’t exist, since the fog would thin away, shapes would lose its materiality and the light could no longer write. In this intangible space, parallelepipeds of light are generated by analysing data from stock market. The data represent the stock fluctuation of companies that produce the installation’s elements. Through data, time and space visualisation, this work of art analyses the concept of economical value, altering its meaning.
